		<description>There really is no substitute financially or with weight loss success for having control of what you eat.  By this I mean that by fixing your own meals and snacks you will spend less money AND be more successful with your weight loss.  Using your brain is an invaluable asset when setting out to lose weight.  Take the example of the 100-calorie Oreo cookie pack: You can make your own 100-calorie pack by using small zip-lock bags a large box of cookies--cheaper and you&#039;re more in control.  

The people that are truly successful with losing weight are those that keep it off for years and, ultimately for a lifetime.  Success is not simply losing weight on a diet as just about any diet will result in weight loss.  If you&#039;ve lost the weight only to regain it and more, then the method you used didn&#039;t work.  Yo-yo dieting is not success despite all the weight that was lost over and over on a myriad of diets.  There are some things that people who have kept off large amounts of weight tend to have in common--that&#039;s eating a healthy, low-fat, high nutrition diet that isn&#039;t too restrictive of calories and, most importantly, regular moderate to high intensity exercise such as walking an hour a day-the latter seeming to be the most important of the two for fat loss.
