I think the service of Climber Premier was missed in the review. The purpose is not to just send job matches, but to connect the job seeker directly with hiring managers who are looking to HIRE! Climber is putting the candidates information in front of the person doing the hiring so not only can the job seeker source new positions, but the recruiters on Climber can source qualified candidates. They user does also get job matches, can apply to positions, create a new resume in the Resume Center and even source companies they are interested in sending their resume to. Climber also indexes the user's profiles on major search engines, such as Google and Yahoo, so they can be found off the platform as well, giving them maximum exposure. Climber is definitely more than a job board or a rolodex and has been cutting its user's hire time in half, compared to the national average!

I forgot to add that the other job search engines are great; I got replies from 80% of the 20 or so places I applied to, in the first month, without the help of Climber.com.

I tried Climber.com. They charge $29.99 for the Premium account. You give them all kinds of information (more than the biggest application you ever filled), and that's it. You will receive a few advices about how to make a nice resume, and that your credit score should be good, and maybe a job opening or two (I got only one that did not apply to my license, and which of course is available to everyone very easily using online job search engines like Google, indeed.com..., and that they kept sending it again and again, 3 times, the same one). And of course they automatically charge the 2nd month and so on until you cancel (do it online under "my account").

Conclusion: a waste of money, a false hope.
